Our category winning ‘Tamarind, Maple & Maderia Stuffed Pork Loin’ fresh pork dish proved such a hit with the judges that it also went on to be crowned Overall Winner in the competition. In addition, their Lincolnshire Pork, Cider & Apple Pie was voted as the 'Best Pork & Pastry' product.
"The pork loin dish, which was developed by my wife Val stemmed from an idea we had for a Christmas ham. We wanted something different; the marinated ham sold extremely well over the festive period, so the marinade was utilised in new forcemeat and extended to the pork loin and has worked exceptionally well."
Pettit's won five gold and two silver medals at the same event.
